Linnea Quigley is hardly what you would call a Porn Star, although she has made one brief foray into hardcore hear. She's far more well known as one of the all-time queens of the b-movie, a self-proclaimed 'scream queen' who has strutted her sexy, sassy stuff in some of the cheesiest, most ridiculous drive-in dust-ups and low-budget laughers of the last twenty years. Linnea Quigley was born in Davenport, Iowa on May 27, 1958. Along with her family, she moved out to Los Angeles in the late 70s. That's when she caught the acting bug and started taking bit parts in commercials and movies. Linnea Quigley's perky good looks quickly caught the eyes of producers all over town, who cast her in a string of low-budget horror flicks like 'Stone Cold Dead,' 'Graduation Day' and 'Silent Night, Deadly Night.' Linnea Quigley burst into the (somewhat) mainstream consciousness with the unexpected success of 1985's 'Return of the Living Dead.' She parlayed that success into appearances in some of the late 80s' wildest b-movies, including 'Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama,' 'Night of the Demons' and 'Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers.' In the early 90s, Linnea Quigley had a brief marriage to Hollywood special effects wiz Steve Johnson. She became widely known for her outspoken advocacy of animal rights, and often worked with PETA to promote various causes. In April of 2000, Linnea Quigley made her one and only foray into hardcore, turning in a steamy solo performance in 'Curse of the Lesbian Love Goddess.' She moved to South Florida soon after, to be with her family and to get away from the hectic pace of her SoCal lifestyle. Linnea Quigley continues to appear in lots of low-budget flicks and straight-to-video romps. She also appears frequently at sci-fi conventions and such, as well as playing with her all-girl band The Skirts. She's also written two books about her life as a b-movie queen, 'Bio and Chainsaw' and 'I'm Screaming as Fast as I Can.' Linnea Quigley is indisputably the Queen of the 80s B-Movie, a title she wears with pride.
