Porn Star Cheri Janvier was an exotic morsel of hardcore sizzle that sashayed her way in and out of the porno racket during the mid-80's video explosion. Cheri Janvier churned and burned her way through almost 25 features during a little over a year and a half in the business, making a name for herself as a reliably hot performer who never quite hit the big time. Or maybe we should say 'names' for herself, since she had almost as many aliases as she did feature performances.

Cheri Janvier first got her toes wet in the hardcore scene in 1983's 'Woman Times Four,' an all-girl epic that piqued her interest in the business. Cheri Janvier didn't return to the fold, though, until 1984, when she landed a part in 'Open Up Tracy.' Once again, Cheri Janvier stayed away from the scene for a while before jumping in with both feet in 1985. That year, she appeared in almost twenty features, staking her claim on porn stardom with a series of blistering performances.

One of her best scenes is opposite porno legend John Holmes in 'Coming Holmes,' one of his last starring roles. Cheri Janvier also shined in 'Lust American Style'. Her constantly changing name and tendency to land only supporting roles kept her from the top echelon of hardcore stardom, so she ended up leaving the scene in late 1986. Cheri Janvier left behind a catalog that's chock-full of dazzlingly sensual supporting performances.
