Playboy Playmate Alexandria "Lexie" Karlsen is a redheaded ravisher who is much more than just a pretty face -- and a fantastic body. Alexandria was born in Mesa, Arizona on October 26, 1978. She grew up in Mesa, where her intellect blossomed just as precociously as her beauty. By the age of fifteen, she was working as a part-time reporter for local papers like the Arizona Republic and the Phoenix Gazette. She simultaneously worked her way through her final years of high school and a college stint, so that by the age of 18 she was ready to step into a career. At eighteen, Alexandria got licensed and started working for one of the world's largest mutual fund companies. Such a button-down job just wasn't right for her, though. Alexandria started modeling part-time, and in 1998 she submitted her photos to Playboy. A year later, she was selected to be Miss March 1999. She's never looked back. Alexandria toured the world as a Playmate, as well as appearing on TV shows like 'Howard Stern,' 'The Price is Right,' and 'Hard Copy.' She also served as the hostess of the 'Love and Money with Alexandria Karlsen' segment of the FX show 'The X Show,' staying in the job for the entire two year run of the series. Alexandria used her notoriety as a Playmate to help kick-start her writing career, as well. She's been published in numerous magazines, including 'Elegant Bride,' 'Guitar World,' and 'Maxim.' In 2003, she published her first book, entitled 'The Divorced Guy's Guide to Dating: How to Meet More Women.' As you might guess from the title, it's Lexie's personal take on how divorced men can get their love lives up and running again.
