| "AIM Benefit at DeJaVu Strip Club"
Adult Industry Medical, the leading blood testing clinic in the adult industry, held a fundraiser this month at Déjà vu Showgirls nude nightclub in North Hollywood, California.
Initially only one performer showed up to perform for an audience of eight patrons. With ten dollars of the $30 cover charge going to AIM , it seemed like it would be going home with no more than $80 bucks in it's pockets.
AIM President Sharon Mitchell showed up and waited while a dozen performers showed up to perform and the nightclub slowly filled to capacity.
In addition to press from Talking Blue TV and French Kiss Magazine, a documentary film crew shot the event.
The film follows porn actress Nina Hartley, actress/director Candida Royale and AIM's Sharon Mitchell.
Sharon Mitchell said of the event, "We (had) a little wrestling, a lot of striptease and some S&M.
The guys at Extreme Associates (gave) us Jake Lawless. Tina Toy (was) also there as well as a new British girl named Goldie. We also (had) two new young ladies, Mercedes and Felony, that (performed). They (were) provided by the Rio agency. Stephanie Swift (provided) Polaroid sessions. Midori (was) there singing and dancing. Kiki Dare (was) stripping."
"Tina Toy (didn't) get us busted this time. The last time we had her perform at Luna Park we got in trouble with the club. She offended so many people but we just got to keep her around. Anyone that can offend that many people has to be an AIM bad girl," said Mitchell.
"By the way, we are getting back test results six days a week, now, even on Saturdays at ten in the morning. Now it's really convenient. The talent doesn't have to wait until five o'clock. It's been really helpful and seems to be working without a hitch."
