Starring: Reviewing this one was a real challenge, because I have a real blind spot for the California blonde stereotype we see a lot in this business. You could put Jill Kelly,Shayla LeVeaux, and Julie Rage in a room and I couldn't tell you who was who. Seriously. So when I saw these three names on the cast list among many, many other blondes, (a few of whom had no hardcore scenes, by the way) I really hoped there would be IDs at each scene. No suchluck. But being a dedicated reviewer, I took Blonde Porn Stars 101 at the Community College and sorted things out. The movie stars Jill Kelly, Shayla LeVeaux, Avalon, Marylin Star, Julie Rage, Nico Treasures, Randi Storm, Wynona Winter, Cara Lott, Monti, Mila, Candy Roxxx, Montana Gunn, Shelbee Myne, Victoria Basque, Felecia and Noel. Of those, Shelbee, Victoria, and Noel are just there as "eye candy". It's a shame, because all three are quite lovely. Well, all the girls are beautiful, and all turn in wonderful, wonderful performances.
This one is a weird movie. Thank Jim Holliday for that. Touting his "eye candy" style, the movie is filled with non-sex shots, filling time between scenes with pictures of the other girls sunbathing or posing. There are even times when you see two of the girls start kissing and touching only to realize it's filler. Kind of confusing, but nice to watch. The music is also interesting. Most of it is instrumental versions of songs you'll recognize. For instance, the first scene is filled with the familiar strains of Bob Seger's "Against The Wind". Surreal. The camerawork is impeccable, although in a few of the scenes it was next to impossible to get a good look at faces to ID the performers. And the reliance on outdoor scenes causes a few interesting problems as the performers have repeated insect problems of one kind or another. Nothingmajor, but I imagine a cloud of gnats could put a damper on even the nicest blowjob. All in all, this is an interesting experience.
First a warning. Most of the scenes in this movie are g/g, so if you don't like that sort of thing, you probably won't like this. It's really *good* g/g, but I know there are some purists out there. That aside, let me tell you that this is one hot movie. First of all, before the credits even roll, we're treated to a 1 on 1 with Julie Rage and some lucky guy. After some oral work, she does anal for awhile. No facial, but it's a great scene to watch. Then Jim Holliday explains his philosophy, and then we get to watch Marylin Star and Shayla LeVeaux make love to each other outside on a pile of beach towels. After some wonderful oral work, they drag out the toys. No pedestrianstuff here, the g/g scenes in this movie involve anal and DP to boot. These two girls take turns working each other over, although watching Marylin suck on a Baby Ruth bar while getting head is kinda weird. Next, Nico Treasures takes "the assistant football coach" in a clearing in the woods. After showing off her impressive oral skills (tongue stud and all) she takins him in several positions before accepting a decent facial. Next, Jill Kelly tries out the inexperienced Avalon in another very nice g/g scene. No toys this time, as the girls attack each other with enthusiasm. Very nice to watch. Next is a 3-way between Monti, Wynona Winter, and a lucky fellow. The girls start out alone, but he quickly joins in and the girls are happy to oblige him. Monti is quite vocal as she takes the fellow on, and Wynona holds up her end of the tryst with enthusiasm. No facial here, though. Next, Monti, Marylin Star, and Mila do a nice outdoor lesbian scene. Yes, I used "Mila" and "nice" in the same sentence. I guess in a g/g/g she can't do anything *too* sick, right? She does get a plastic DP that's fun to watch, and she gets almost brutal with the toys herself. Very hot, very loud. This is the wildest scene on the tape. Next, Randi storm takes a guy on a park bench, showing off somevery nice deep-throating. She manages a lot of awkward positions well, including some anal, and finally takes an enthusiastic facial. Next, Avalon and Shayla LeVeaux wander off for a tryst which is interrupted (and joined) by Cara Lott. The three girls break out all sorts of toys in this one, and Cara shows that she's still got it where it counts. She shows up in the next scene as well, joining Jill Kelly, Wynona Winter, and Felecia for a wonderful 4-way. The girls attack each other with enthusiasm and another great series of plastic accessories. I swear, this movie is almost a video catalog. The girls take turns being the center of attention and everyone gets lots of action. After this, Candy Roxxx treats a fellow to a nice outdoor boff. I swear, she reminds me of Taija Rae. . . just more adventurous. The facial at the end isn'tthe best, but it hardly detracts from the scene. Finally, the girls stumble into the Deja Vu club, where we're treated to a Jill Kelly striptease before the rest of the girls join her. Seeing Jill, Julie Rage, Randi Storm, Nico Treasures, Candi Roxxx, and Montana Gunn stripping all together is a wonderful sight, and it gets better when they launch into an all-girl orgy in front of the crowd. With the lighting, it's hard to tell who's doing what, but the scene is wonderful to watch. Wish I'd been in that crowd.
Avalon. This fresh-faced girl turns in a great performance here. I don't think I've seen her in anything else, but I definitely want to see more of her.
I would have liked a few non-blondes in the cast, maybe. . . also, the storyline is *very* dippy. It's some kind of trivia scavenger hunt. For some reason, midway through the tape, there's a scene that suggests - I am *not* making this up - that the girls can communicate using their asses. You thought Jim Carrey was the only one? Ah well, neither is a really major complaint.
This one scores a 9. I would have given it a 10 for more variety or less stupid story. All the girls are hot, all the scenes are hot, and even Mila looks good here. If youlike g/g scenes or can at least tolerate them, this is a wonderful addition to your collection. Me, I've found a few new starlets to watch. Great movie.
