This Justin Slayer movie comes very highly recommended so I decided to give it a look. (Don't worry, the John Leslie movie is up next.) I have to wonder about a movie that doesn't mention the female cast anywhere on the box. Either they are so unimpressive as to be better left un-named or someone thinks that the director's name on the box is more important than the women. Either way it's a bad thing and definitely shouldn't be done again. Since the women are listed in the credits when the movie starts we know that this isn't exactly a collection of A-List babes. Velicity Von can be pretty good and I just Devon Lee do something really hot with Lexington Steele. Caroline Pierce and Friday are re-treads who I suppose fit really well in a big booty movie. .oh wait, they weren't even on the box. At any rate, if ever there was a chance for Slayer to prove that he really is as good as some people think, it's now. He doesn't have the best cast in the world so if he can get something great from this group then I might start to get it.
I just watched Velicity Von in a pretty good scene, so at least the early casting in this movie is pretty good. The tease is booty oriented of course and Ms. Von has a pretty good one. For the most part this is good tease, but the background is washed out and it really hurts. (People can stop copying this any time.) Slayer breaks the silence as he follows her around the house. He turns the action over to Nat and he puts his dick in her mouth. There is considerably more time spent on her ass than on her face, but I suppose that fits with the title. When she starts riding his dick, the camera is all over the place. It doesn't stay focused on her butt, or the penetration or even anything solid up around the face or chest. I know that a lot of really popular directors are doing this, but it's bad when the good ones do it. When Slayer does it, it's horrible. Just focus on the action and stop moving every four seconds. Between the stark white background, the poorly framed shots and the constant camera movement it is nearly impossible to imagine what he's going for. There is some decent heat here, but it's completely wasted. Even as he pulls out and shoots on her face, the shot is badly washed out. Sometimes directors try to do too much and it just messes up what could be a hot scene. That's the case here.
I didn't even realize that Caroline Pierce was still around. It makes sense that she would be in a big booty movie because she has had thunderous cheeks for a long time. Caroline was a booty girl when booty wasn't cool. Her backside is even bigger these days which makes her perfect for this movie. There are some good butt shots here, but the camera is still moving around way too much. With a stunning lack of transition, Justin just shoves his dick into her pussy while she is bent over. I don't know who is on camera for this scene, but it's even worse than the last one. When she starts sucking cock, the lighting is too hot and we're still moving around like this is some homemade porn shot by someone who has never held a camera. This is what happens when someone tries too hard to copy what others have done successfully. I know that no-cut scenes are all the rage, but unless you're Jules Jordan or Mike John, we end up with stuff that looks like this. Look guys, sometimes cuts are good. There might be some good action for fans of huge butts and interracial action, but we really don't get a chance to see it. He pounds away on her, but if there is any connection of heat here, it's completely lost.
Sadie shows off her butt first and it's nice looking if you like really big butts. The rest of her is pretty average so we're going to have to rely on the butt shots to carry the scene. He picks her up and drops her down on his dick. That usually provides good booty shots, but as before we can't stay on anything for more than two seconds. If you start with a scene that really only has one thing going for it and then strip that away then there is really nothing left. We've got an average looking girl, fucking a guy who isn't bringing anything out in her and even the big butt shots aren't allowed to provide heat. Someone just needs to slip decaff into the camera guy's cup and remind Slayer that we aren't all on Ritalin. Some of us can actually enjoy a good shot for more than three seconds.
At least Devon Lee is an attractive girl. If nothing else we can enjoy watching this curvy blonde show us what she's got. The ADD style continues though as we go through three separate tease settings. After the usual shots, she gets into the shower and soaps up. If that isn't enough we go outside so she can walk around in the bright sunlight. As much as I enjoy looking at Devon, this is just a little too much. The outdoor lighting doesn't help things when the sex begins either. She gives a decent blowjob and then bends over to take it from behind. There is probably some good stuff here too. I just saw Devon in a Lex movie and he got a great scene from her. Devon seems far more subdued in this one, but worse than that, we still don't really get to enjoy it because the camera guy seems to be running around all the time. (It reminds me of those stupid camera zooms they used to on the Wayne's World skits.) Devon finally strokes a load out of his dick, putting an end to another huge waste of potential.
I didn't know that Friday was still around either. She's even bigger than before, so she fits in perfectly with this cast. By now we have totally beaten to death the bad camerawork so we can just say that the tease would be good if not for
well, you know. Slayer feeds the dick and Friday shows us all that she can take a lot of meat down her throat. Since she is so good at blowjobs and since she actually looks good, the horrific camera play really stands out in this one. The rest of the sex is pretty good. Friday is always a dynamic performer so she makes up for the lack of energy from the other side of the aisle. She likes it hard and he is able to give it to her. Of course he falls into another trap later by grabbing her head and trying to make her gag. Things really get strange when they take a break in the middle of the action to dive in the pool. She crawls around and ends up finishing things off back inside. This might work in another movie, but here it just feels clumsy and looks like an attempt to stretch the running time. All problems aside, I think this might actually be a pretty hot scene. We just need to strap 1000 pounds of lead to the cameraman so that he can't ruin what might have been there.
This movie fails on virtually every level possible. The cast isn't great to being with. It would have taken a serious male performer and a good director to make something great. Instead, Slayer makes a bad situation worse. In his defense, he isn't the man behind the camera. Whoever shot this either did a horrible job or followed horrible orders perfectly. There is way too much movement in every scene. Some movement is great and can add to the flow of a scene. Good gonzo porn doesn't have to cut all the time like features do and that can add a whole lot of heat to the mix. I know that everyone is trying to do what Jules does, but there is a big difference. When watching a Jules Jordan movie, it is good to have extra tissue nearby, but when watching this movie it would help a lot to have a motion sickness bag nearby. Normally I would say that this movie is good for fans of big butts, but no matter what you normally like, it isn't good when the camera can't even stay focused on it for a few seconds. I expect a lot from Evil Angel so Slayer has to bring his best every time. I had seen some improvement of late, but this movie is so poorly shot that I almost felt that I was watching low end amateur footage. It's bad pretty much from start to finish, but on the bright side, it still isn't half as bad as Neu Wave Hookers.
