Starring: Paul Thomas delves into the dark mind of Jessica Drake, an obsessed fan of porn scribe Devin Wolf, who enters his life and fulfills fantasies even his fertile mind cannot conceive. This is one of Thomas's moody pieces focused on a woman who walks the edge and the guy who goes for the ride. But while Thomas flirts with the dangers of extreme sexplay, like being handcuffed then abandoned in public by your cunning playmate, "Fatal Attraction" this ain't.
Shot on film and as solid as all Paul Thomas productions.
Drake is the all-American porn jockey's wet-dream: a girl who devours hardcore mags like a blue-balled adolescent. But she's no match for Anastasia Blue, a pick-up who turns into an anal-fiend under Drake's spell. Kira Kenner gets top billing as the relatively straight object of Wolf's more normal desires, but she can't compete with either Blue or Drake. I don't believe Thomas was nearly as interested in her as his other characters.
The scenes with Drake, Wolf and Anatastia. Explosive!
Thomas's concept is too underdeveloped to run 135 minutes. It needs major trimming or a full-throated story.
But even a near-miss by Thomas is worth a look. A 7.
